ABOUT the trainer: Justina Glovatsky
Justina has played volleyball for 15 years, beginning in third grade and moving on to play varsity as an eighth grader. She went to the state tournament for Minnesota three times and won the consolation championship. During the four years of varsity, Justina was named captain two years in a row and received multiple awards. As her education continued to accelerate, so did her game as Justina was invited to be a starter three years in a row at the Division II collegiate level. The collegiate environment provided her the opportunity to become acutely familiar with the skills required to compete at an elite level. She has been involved with coaching and skills training ever since.
Justina currently works with students and adults in professional settings at athletic clubs, schools, and treatment centers. These experiences has helped her not only understand how to help athletes physically, but develop mental and emotional tenacity which hold equal importance when developing into a profound athlete.
club and age group demographics:
Coached players from 8 years old to 43 years old, both male and female.
Currently works with two club teams on skills adding to the 10+ teams she has collaborated with in the past.
Justina possesses in-depth knowledge and experience in every area of volleyball, but specializes in setting and defensive specialists. The sessions are specifically tailored to what the client's goals are and what position they are focusing on.
Generally, the first session is an introductory session to see if the skills and services offered would be a good fit between the player and coach.
Due to gym space, multiple clients, and other factors, Justina's availability is limited and will send out available times to clients and prospective clients to see what works best for their schedules.
In addition to physical skills training, Justina is available to analyze film and send clients informational videos to improve their skills for a lesser rate.
Occasionally Justina works with additional trainers to provide more lesson openings for clients. These additional trainers are all highly qualified and may offer variety to your student. Justina will always let you know if she is unavailable, but another trainer can work with you.
